I know this isn't going to be popular with a lot of photographers (or bride's) but it's just my opinion and where my heart is. I am not a big fan of "trash the dress" sessions. If you haven't heard about trash the dress, it's a day after session with the bride where during the photo shoot the wedding dress gets wet, dirty, tears and is essentially destroyed. It's concept lies in the bride's declaration that the wedding is done and the dress will not be used again.
But it could be.
If you aren't interested in keeping your dress for sentimental reasons, then instead of partaking in the latest craze and trashing your dress, consider making someone else's dream come true and donate it to Bride's Against Breast Cancer.
It's just a thought.
