{Real Party} Sweet Fairytale Princess Birthday Party

Oh my goodness I am head over heels in love with this darling Fairytale Princess Birthday party featured on Hostess with the Mostess' blog.

There are so many charming and whimsical details in this party, I could sit and pour over the images for hours and see something creative and inspiring each time.

You'll have to view the party on Hostess with the Mostess to read about all the details
as told by the designer (the birthday girl's mommy), as well as see a list and credit links
to all the fabulous vendors.

There is also a really special meaning behind the party that you won't want to miss.

{REAL PARTY} A Special 5th Birthday Barbie Bash

This darling barbie party is definitely fit for a 5th birthday girl!

But she isn't just any birthday girl, and this isn't just any birthday party. You see, this
party was for the daughter of my dear friend Sue, who as you know, lost her battle with
cancer in January of this year.

Looking through these pictures brings both sadness and joy. Sue was one of those
moms that loved her children with all her heart. She loved being a mom more than anything else, and loved planning parties for her children. She was happiest when she was making other people feel special and important. It was her gift.

So in looking at the pictures I can't help but notice that Sue is not there....physically.
But what brings a tremendous amount of peace and joy is knowing that she is sitting at
the right hand of God, watching a fantastic barbie birthday party unfold for her daughter as if right out of one of her own playbooks. The same friends that Sue cherished rallied together and gave her daughter a birthday she will always remember.

I know Sue was happy, because her daughter was loved on, and felt special on her
birthday. Happy 5th Birthday Kamden!

The gorgeous invitation and party printables were custom designed by Jasella Stationary.

{REAL PARTY} Breakfast at Hannah's 5th Birthday Party

Breakfast at Hannah's 5th Birthday Party

Yesterday, March 23, 2011, we celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday. I know it's so cliche to say this, but I truly cannot believe how fast time goes by.

I remember praying for a child, and waiting (and waiting) for God to answer my prayer....and what an incredible answer to prayer she is!

I believe now how truly intimately God knows each one of his children, because He gave me such a perfect gift. He gave me more than I could have ever imagined I would want when He picked me to be Hannah's mommy. I know God knows how much I delight in His precious gift and celebrate the little joys every day.

But today we celebrated a special birthday....we celebrated Hannah turning 5 years old!

I styled a "Breakfast at Hannah's" theme party based on the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" movie with Audrey Hepburn. That movie is not only one of my all time favorite movies, but my daughter loves to play dress up, loves being glamorous, and wants to be a movie star, so I thought this was the perfect way to celebrate her milestone birthday!

... and this post would not be complete without a heartfelt thank you, thank you, thank you to each one of my hand picked vendors who helped make this party a reality!
Please see credit and links to all the fabulous vendors who were a part of this party!

Here is the invitation that I custom designed and handmade

{REAL PARTY} Pink Puppy Party!

Get ready for some serious DOG-ON cuteness!!

I am an avid animal lover. Confession time... I do consider my animals members of my family, and treat them like furry children. There, I've said it, it's out there. =)

I found this darling doggy soiree on one of my favorite reads, The Sweetest Occasion, and it was originally planned by and featured on Sitting in a Tree Events.

From the sweet doggie treats, to the old familiar games of fetch and frisbee, this is any doggie's dream birthday celebration!
