I found this lovely styled "newlywed" photo shoot on Simply Bloom Photography, and I just love this concept! Everyone does "engagement photos", and "bridal portraits", but how about a "newlywed shoot"?! It could be as creative as you want to be... a photo shoot in your new home, or around your home town, or even hire a local photographer in your honeymoon city to style a shoot for you while on your honeymoon!
I'm inspired by so many of the little details that they included; vintage plates, lavender
petals, and a lovely worn newlywed sign. They also created something unique and simple
by using plain fabric and securing vintage lace symmetrically from the center to the circumference for the table linens.
Another fabulous design element is the bouquet handmade out of door knobs and drawer
pulls from Anthropology!
But the one element that sticks out the most for me is the twist on the traditional & trendy cupcake/dessert table. They came up with a dessert was still flexible in size and most importantly ~ different ~ white chocolate covered green apples frosted and stacked on the most lovely cake stand. This is an inexpensive idea that can be adapted for any type of event!
I love unique and creative ideas, and this shoot is definitely full of amazing design elements!
