This darling "Peek a Pooh" Baby Shower, featured on Hostess with the Mostess was planned by my friend Sophia of Petite Productions, and is not only ultra-stylish and adorable, but is also extremely thoughtful, as the theme was created especially for the mom-to-be, incorporating her interests and Malaysian heritage.
From a honey pot cake sitting on a bed of tropical flowers, to monstera leaf place mats and the perfect tea house to bring all the shower elements together.
The playfulness of Pooh and the energy of the tropics was brought together throughout the decor with bright and bold arrangements, and the use of organic bark containers for each floral arrangement. To add a modern and contemporary feel to the character-inspired shower, classy suede oak table runners created the foundation of the table scape, with crisp khaki linen napkins to compliment.

The menu consisted of pacific spring rolls, warm pressed sandwiches and organic greens.
White sparkling jasmine tea was a great (alcohol-free) way to toast the mom-to-be. Each guest was also served a premium loose tea of their choice, served hot or iced. {I love that idea!!}

Fresh scones with flavors like chocolate peanut butter and tropical lavender passionfruit was the perfect accompaniment to the tea. Each plate was a miniature display of art with precise sauce work and food placement!

Some additional thoughtful details included an original Winnie the Pooh storybook as a guestbook to be included in the nursery's library; a baby onesie was also signed by all in attendance; and of course, Tigger served a significant purpose as the baby is going to be born in the Year of the Tiger!

As always, please visit the original post on Hostess with the Mostess to see all the talented vendors who participated in this incredible baby shower!
