{Real Party} Curious George Birthday Party

Another adorable character~inspired party ~ this time it's Curious George!

I found this colorful party centered around the lovable Curious George, who was even around when I was little {and that was many, many years ago!}. I love that he is still loved and is the inspiration for incredible birthdays like this one planned by Esther from My Bride Story and featured on Hostess with the Mostess.

This party is so filled with inspiring ideas that are wonderfully creative as well as stylish and incredibly budget friendly. Esther's generous heart and desire to educate her son on how to care for others when he gets older shines throughout in this party.

Just amazing when you read the details. Thank you Esther for the reminder to always remember how fortunate we are to have our basic needs met and loved ones around us ~
you are an inspiration!

I LOVE that all gifts and proceeds were going directly to support the foundation, Giving Children Hope {due to recent events in Haiti}. A total of $900 was raised for the foundation.

The blue lanterns that hung from the tree were borrowed as was the red wagon that
stored ice-cold drinks in it ~ a darling idea!

The wheat grass boxes and floral arrangements were donated and Esther made the paper pinwheels to line the walkway in the grass to welcome the guests.

The dessert table was full of red, yellow and blue sweet treats, the garlands were handmade
out of felt and yarn in the same colors scheme. The garlands now hang over Grant's crib. I love the idea of incorporating party decorations into nursery decor after the party is over!

I love the rows of milk shooters with chocolate cookies on top!

Esther made the birthday hats out of decorative paper, attached some pompoms on top and made a small hole to tie the elastic bands together and secure them with staples.

OMG, I am dying a little right now. This is the cutest thing ever. My son loves Curious George and this is like my version of a dream party. Maybe I can at least incorporate a few things that were done here for his party. Thanks for sharing!
