Teacher Appreciation Gifts

I love the girls at Eighteen25. They are so creative and have the most darling DIY ideas!

This is the first year my daughter has been in school and therefore had a teacher
(she started preschool last September). I have been having so much fun figuring out
little teacher gifts for Christmas, Valentines Day, and Easter, etc. I recently discovered
that next month (May 2-May 6) is National Teacher Appreciation Week, (with May 3rd being the actual day), so I thought it would be fun to look around and see what is out there on
the blogosphere for creative teacher appreciation gifts.

Personally, I appreciate a handmade gift, and I especially appreciate when a child is involved in making it. I would imagine teachers feel the same way, so that is my #1 criterion to show appreciation to my daughter's teacher.

Eighteen25 did not disappoint! Click on the links below to see their step~by~step tutorials
and a materials list to make these darling projects, + some FREE DIY printables!

There are also lots more inspiring ideas on their blog.
You might want to grab some coffee and stay awhile.

Oh, and if your child is in Mrs. Walker's class, let's coordinate gifts so we don't duplicate :)

Darling Easter Vintage Brunch + DIY Printables

I love the charming, shabby chic vibe of this vintage-style "Breakfast and Bunnies" brunch hosted by Julia of in Good Company, and featured on Hostess with the Mostess.

This party is full of darling and simple DIY elements including glass soda bottles embellished with paper doilies, place settings adorned with bunny~shaped sugar cookies, and cute little chalkboard signs to help guide guests to the table.

As an added bonus, Julia is sharing her beautiful and FREE "Vintage Easter" party
printables that coordinate with this look ~ including party circles, place cards, invitations, bunny ear/nose and pennant banner.

This definitely is my style of party!

A Summer Soiree

I love the colors in this Summer Soire styled by You're Invited and featured on Ashley's Bride Guide! The vibrant combination of hot pink and lime green is a really great color palette, and they have incorporated so many creative details such as sugar rimmed glasses, dessert shooters, and bud vases with pink sweet peas at each guests' place setting. You can read about all the behind the scenes inspiration as told by the designer, Stephanie Alexander on ABG.

Countdown to the Royal Wedding

Royal Engagement {Napkin} Rings?!

Wildflower Linen is definitely the leading designer and producer of specialty table
linens and chair covers that discerning brides and planners use when they want to add
the utmost in style and elegance to their event's tabletops and place settings.
Lucky for me, they are located right here in Orange County.

The founder, Younsong Martin has designed a custom napkin ring inspired by
Kate Middleton's (and former Princess Diana's) 18-carat sapphire and diamond ring for
you to use to make your event as royal as possible!
