Shabby Chic Fairy Party

Today I'm featuring this darling, homespun shabby chic fairy party that Pamela with Party Starters planned for her daughter's 5th birthday.

I love this party for so many reasons. First ~ it's simply adorable! But what's most
amazing about this party ~ is the fact that Pamela was able to create something so
beautiful and magical for under $100.

Her DIY secrets?? Using antique glassware from her collection, and creating the banners,
fairy boxes, cupcake wrappers, fairy cupcake picks and butterfly straw decorations
out of damask printed paper in watermelon pink, apricot orange, lime green and ocean blue.
All of the food and drink was made at home, and she only splurged on a couple of bags of
candy, popcorn and flowers.

I love how creative Pamela was in designing a party sure to delight any little girl that adores fairies and all things pretty and magical ~ without breaking the bank!

Be sure to head over to Party Starters to see all the behind the scenes touches and more
details and photos of the party.

Fabric & Paper Floral Bridal Shower

This is a darling floral bridal shower styled by Breanna with bre notes and featured on

What a creative use of eclectic fabric invitations, paper flower centerpieces and eclectic cake stands showcasing a different shaped mini pound cake!

I love some of the DIY elements included in this party such as each place setting had a
menu card that resembled the invites; the table runner was made from curtain panels;
and I think my personal favorite ~ the favors were fabric ponytail holders, which also served
as the napkin ring!

Great job Breanna!

Sweet Shoppe Theme for Twins First Birthday

This is such a cute "Sweet Shoppe" party that Shelley with How Does She? planned for her twin daughter's first birthday. I am in awe of mom's with multiples, and the fact that Shelley could pull of a darling party like this while balancing it all is inspiring in my book!

Be sure to check out Shelley's post on How Does She? for a list and links to all the talented vendors who contributed to the party, as well as tutorials for her ruffled party streamers and darling cupcake centerpieces, which I for one can't wait to try!
